Notes:
The cutoffs are set with a lot of thought. There is always someone who is “just below” the cutoff.
This is a mathematical property and cannot be fixed.
A lot of people who get B or C are “disappointed” and expected better,
given the work they put into the class. The grades are reflection of exam
(and HW/Project) performance and not necessarily of knowledge or effort.
Extra credit or makeup provided to one or two students is not fair, and then everyone should be given a chance to upgrade the grade (not feasible).
